I am Feroza Latief, a mum of four boys and live in the province of Western Cape.

My eldest son is special needs and on the autism spectrum. My sons attended a madrassa, but due to the eldest being special needs I always had to invest in a private tutor.

AHMED SIRAJUDEEN HOOSAIN, was Allah sent. He relieved my gap of assisting my boys and filling the satisfaction of both there tutor and friend.

They learnt with grace and progress and at times they never wanted him to leave. My second and third son had intention to do hifz, with his forceful positive influence.  

However due to job offerings he left Western Cape and returned to KZN. Was a sad departure as my boys bonded so well with him in the 6 months they shared, but being the good person he is he replaced himself with a colleague, as this showed his commitment to sharing and parting with knowledge.

I highly recommend him in every way possible. His dedication, character, together with his etiquette goes beyond perfection. He is an asset to all in need of deen, character building and more

Dear Reader,

I have known Shaykh  Ahmed for close to four years now, we initially met while I was seeking a Competent Quran teacher. I remained a student of his for almost a year on a daily basis learning the science of Quran recitation and memorizing with him.

​

Having learnt the Quran growing up, I could immediately notice his expertise by comparison, the teaching were thorough and precise as with anyone who takes great care in what he teaches.

​

Apart from his expertise, Shaykh Ahmed is probably one of the kindest and most well-mannered people I know, he is patient and is always motivating his student to do his best in the most humble way. At the difficult times, he knew just what to say to keep me going.

​

Although our circumstances have changed, we still remain in contact and have remained friends ever since. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah and the excellent teachings of Shaykh Ahmed, I have remained dedicated to the Quran and recite it with the same precision and love for it's recitation that was instilled in me. I have always been complemented and enquired about my teaching when anyone has heard me, and I'm always proud to mention my teacher, Shaykh Ahmed in the best manner.

I am a mom to a very sweet boy aged 12, Azhar Hoosen.

Azhar attends a sport school in Durban North which commences at 7.20am and ends at 4.45 pm

With our busy schedules, Azhar has not been able to attend daily Islamic classes.

​

As a very concerned

parent of the changing times in our modern-day society, I needed very urgent assistance to still teach

my child the Islamic way of life.

As I have tried to teach him by myself and often found him to be too playful. I sort out help.

​

To my grace I found the details of Moulana on the internet. It was everything that I could have ever

wanted for my child.

Moulana is kind and caring and did not judge the fact that my son did not have the adequate Islamic

knowledge. Instead he came in week after week persistent to teach him and get him up to speed.

Moulana Ahmed Sirajudeen Hoosain has such a positive influence on Azhar. My child now reads with

passion and confidence.

He understands concepts of Islam and even teaches me a point or two… he gets assessed right down to

the exam and a report card just as he would in Madressa. Classes covers all aspects of Islam with a set

timetable and equal time to adhere to each aspect

As the pandemic approached, I was concerned that Azhars lessons would have to fall away.

Moulana had other plans. We have been doing online classes and it has worked out amazingly.

Azhar did not have to miss any of his classes.

I highly recommend Moulana Ahmed Sirajudeen Hoosain.

He is great with Kids and understands their needs, he teaches in a very fun filled way at the same time

teaches responsibility and assertiveness.

I am a mum of 2 kids aged 5 and 8. Due to the Covid pandemic, my children were not sent back to madressa and missed out a lot on their Islamic education which was very concerning to me. As a parent I had to provide a good Islamic education to my kids as we live in a modern era. I had tried teaching them myself but they were very playful. I then began searching for a private Islamic teacher.

I then came across Moulana Ahmed Sirajudeen Hoosain on the internet and contacted him. To my delight he had online madressa classes available amongst other programs.

My two children are under him since March 2021 to current. Moulana has so much of patience and dedication towards my kids. He has been great with my children especially the 5-year-old, who is very playful at times. Moulana has a fun way of teaching my kids and continuously instilling good Islamic values into them.

My Eight-year-old has a bit of a speech problem and cannot pronounce some words correctly but Moulana is very patient and motivates her to an extent that boosts her confidence and makes her try even harder.

​

I would highly recommend Moulana Ahmed Sirajudeen Hoosain. He has a good understanding with kids and I am truly grateful for all his efforts. He is an individual with utmost respect, compassion, patience and integrity. Teaches responsibility and how to take ownership.
